Following the business items of the meeting, guest speaker Allison Thorne will talk about the latest news and campaigns for saving urban wild lands, including the Blue Mountain Birch Cove area.

AGM events always attract members and neighbours keen to learn more about what is happening on the Chebucto Peninsula’s wilderness areas.

Everyone is welcome.

Ray Plourde, (Left) Wilderness Coordinator, Ecology Action Centre, provided the guest speaker lecture at the AGM in 2019. His topic was the “State of Nova Scotia’s Forests” and he described how clear cutting was damaging our forests biodiversity and future. Harry Ward (Right) thanked Ray with promo item gifts from the Trust.
